NaNoWriMo

Uhhhh I pray to a good writer, so I could write here =]

One more month until NaNoWriMo starts. More or less.

For those of you who don’t know what NaNoWriMo is, we’re talking about a competition that takes part in November. The goal is to write a novel. 50K words or more. That’s not so bad. It’s like 1,600 words a day or something like that.

  1. Are you going to do NaNo? It’s such a blast, I hope you do. The best part is you’re not allowed to stop and wonder “Was that a good sentence?” or “Did I write that right?” or whatever… You just don’t have time!! It’s fun and fast. And totally meant to be a rough draft. I’m looking forward to it.

    • I’d love to do NaNo! But I have a lot of school works to do. haha. Is it really good? I’m not yet equipped in writing good stories/essays.. Tell me more about your experience in NaNo. I’d like to hear them!

      • All you have to write is about 1,600 words a day to make the 50,000 words in the month of November, and trust me YOU are equipped. The whole point of NaNoWriMo — well, Chris Baty started it to let everyone know they have a story to tell. And that ANYONE can write a book. ANYONE. I have finished in about five of the years that it has run, but haven’t rewritten any of the drafts yet (that is my weakness – lol). Just find an idea you think you are passionate about, or more importantly that you can have FUN with for 30 days and that you could write a lot about — you will surprise yourself, and it’s quite a feeling of accomplishment. There’s a YWP (Young Writers Program) because people as young as twelve years old have expressed a desire to want to write a novel in the month of November. I don’t want to push you (no one knows our limitations like we do ourselves), but I just wanted you to know more about it. Have you checked out the site?

Don't reply no more if it's negative, thank you :)
